Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, late 90s/early 2000s this guy Onorok was all around town. There were a bunch of crews covering ground at the time. Some had style going for quality, some went for quantity with more tags and bombs, others went for the shock factor of death defying placement, while others stayed off the radar of the streets and busways and put in work in the rail yards. One cat to me seemed to be on top of every dimension..
It's easy to see he shines on the freights, but I remember riding busses through town, walking around the city and neighborhoods and always catching onorok pieces in places that made me wonder, how didn't he get caught? or fall of that ledge? Where most people would drop a quick tag, maybe an outline or throw up and fill, Ono always managed to place a tasteful piece as a reminder of his presence. Seemed to me for a lot of his work floating around town, he would make it seem like part of the wall, like it would always blend into the background, then jump out at you once you saw it... I think proper placement and style led to a lot of his work avoiding the buff and outliving the competition. From abstracts to clean kills Onorok always had something a little different, big up
