Nothing like a pair of super big high tops to go with tight rolled up levi's, these things were bad.. and still might be. You can find them floating around on ebay and some styles from reebok now. The ones above here should be released at the end of August coming up here if you want to be the first one on your block to sport them again.. but remember, these things are huge
check out the prototypes from back in the day, they could've doubled as snowboard boots
pretty sure NASA had a part in testing these ones on the moon
but that's cool, I dig the space style.. I might rock em, but I'd go for the og style or remember the one's with the tennis ball pump? These are pretty slick
but whatever you do, stay away from the snakes in the grass, I think it's like medusa, something might happen if you look straight at them
I won't mention LA Gears or all the other pump contenders, but just like Reebok had the little hexalite sole to try and counter Nike's air bubble.. Nike did their thing too
Haha, I'd completely forgot about these things until I was looking around for this post.. Nike completely upped the high top sneaker at least 3 notches with height and girth on these, they're as big as cement blocks on your feet, plus they had that air bubble you could see through on the bottom which was some space age shit at the time. With shoes from the mid to late 90s being remade and released now, I say it's only a matter of time til you see these again.
