Who says they don't make'em like they used to? My man Ticklah here has mastered his own brand of dub sound. Blending everything from traditional vocals, thick crunchy horn sections, and layers of different keys and percussion. He employs the old school methods of analog recording just like the folks at Daptone Records, resulting in sounds like this.
Here's some tunes for you, check out the version above. I stuffed that and the original, a couple Sharon Jones tracks and some of Ticklah's work in here, plus a little bonus from the Daktaris and the Mad Professor
You can find Ticklah's work at the usual outlets, but can get physical copies here http://www.ebreggae.com/
or find his work under different aliases with the Antibalas, Easy Star Records, the Soul Providers, plus records with everyone from Amy Winehouse and Lily Allen to Dj Spinna and Jahdan Blakkamore.
